berry kerry

Berry Kerry
Developed by: Laura
Colour code: Berry Kerry
Ingredients: 1 shot of strawberry liqueur, 1 shot of vodka, 200ml milk, 1 scoop raspberry ripple ice cream (smooshed).
Method: Put it all together in a shaker, shake it, pour it and serve it in a frosted glass garnished with an un-smooshed scoop of ice cream, strawberries, rasberries and any other berry you can get your hands on. I guess that you could have the non-alcoholic version in which you would replace the liqueur and vodka with strawberry syrup so it becomes a milkshake. Yumm. This drink is best served with venison....oops :p
History: Kacey said that surely the Startled Fawn deserved her own drink so Laura obliged by creating one.
Potency: Strong and feisty like its namesake and, like its namesake, capable of appearing all sweet and adorable! [top]

Method: Put ice in cocktail shaker. Pour 2 measures gin, sugar syrup, whisky, milk over ice and shake till a frost forms. Pour without straining, into whisky glass, sprinkle with nutmeg and decorate with strips of lemon rind.
History: As a loyal member of the FBI Kel2 realised there was as need for a Burnside cocktail so she went searching.

Method: Place CD in CD player and turn volume up loud. Place vodka, vermouth and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker and shake it, baby. Place a green olive on each glass and pour martini over to serve.
History: As a loyal customer service rep, Kel knows just what we all need to revive our Christmas spirit after a pre-Chrissy shopping adventure.
Potency: Share it or hope Santa leaves you a year's supply of Berocca under the tree. [top]
cijah lime fizz

CIJAH Lime Fizz
Developed by: Joint venture - Anna and Avon
Colour code: CIJAH Lime Fizz
Ingredients: C - Cointreau, I - ice, J - juice of lime, A - Absolut vodka, H - Hunk to stir.
Method: This drink is so more-ish you'll want to make it in a jug. Add ice, pour over good dash of Cointreau and a huge slurp of vodka. Squeeze a lime or two. Now for the good bit:  find a hunk to stir it for you. No hunk? Get the 'fizz' factor from some lemonade instead.
History: This drink was developed as a thank you gift for our Reclaim the Forum Party hostesses, those delightful CIJAH gals, and first drunk at the Recovery Beach Party on the 20th June, 2000.
Potency: With hunk - you'll be flat on your back in no time!! Without hunk (with lemonade) - thirst-quenchingly good, baby!  [top]

Colour code: *Lone Star*
Ingredients: Beer, brewed in ol' US of A.
Method: Flip off the lid with its little picture of an armadillo and get it down you. You can't drink Lone Star in a glass. Then you drink the beer. Hm. Cold and sour." (Lone Star, James McLure)
History: Lone Star, the 'national beer of Texas', features heavily in Lone Star, a play written by James McLure and performed in Australia by Huw Higginson, Tom Butcher and Russell Boulter. The Christopher
Developed by: Kells, December 2001

Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Bombay Sapphire gin, 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth, 1/2 oz Blue Curaco.
Method: Shake well, while making pithy comments regarding the general state of affairs. Strain into martini glass and turn on the magnetic charm to anyone who you're trying to seduce (with the exception of senior officers' wives, because those will get you knocked back in rank!) Garnish with a lime twist and sit back, secure in the knowledge that, like the drink's namesake, you are dry and smooth, and just a tiny bit too sophisticated for your own good.
History: Taken from the classic method of making a blue martini. A good fit for Chris Deakin. The sparkling blue colour reminded Kells of his eyes.
Potency: While drinking a martini will make anyone feel like they're suave and sophisticated, too many of them and you'll lose your front. A drink to impress with. [top]

turnip martini

Turnip Martini
Developed by: Anna
Colour code: Turnip Martini
Ingredients: Turnip vodka (distilled from organically grown turnips no less), crushed ice.
Method: In a cocktail shaker add crushed ice and vodka. Remember, shaken, not stirred, baby!
History: This drink was originally mentioned in a thread about the Queen Mum's given names. Lady Anna of Turnip waffled so much that it was quickly noticed she'd been partaking of a rather large amount of her family's heritage - Turnip vodka. Brewed in London since the sixteenth century, the recipe has been passed down through countless generations (amazing really since one whiff of the potent stuff has been known to frazzle an unsuspecting braincell or one hundred). It takes 10,000 turnips to make one flagon of 100% proof turnip vodka requiring many hours of arduous peeling. The Arms' Chief Turnip Peeler is Jamie, a man whose incredible hand-eye coordination skills could surely be put to better uses. Oh, yes!
Potency: Official Health Warning: Drink this at your own peril! [top]

Vicki's Revenge

Colour code: N/A
Ingredients: A double shot of vodka, a twist of lemon and a can of Red Bull energy drink.
Method: To a tall glass, add vodka and fill with Red Bull. Garnish with a twist of lemon.

Potency: This drink will make you bouncier than Tigger! [top]

Developed by: Wolfie
Colour code: Webbed Wonder
Ingredients: 1 part Advocaat, 1 part Creme de cacao, 7-Up and crushed ice.
Method: 1/4 fill the glass with crushed ice, making sure your glass is cold so the ice does not melt too much. Pour the Creme de Cacao over the ice, followed by the Advocaat. Slowly add the 7-Up. Stir. A small rubber duck can be added for decoration or some prefer a draping of spider web.
History: Wolfie suggested it on popping by the Arms and realising that there was no Mickey drink, when she wasn't sure what to put in it Avon suggested it might be similar to a Fluffy Duck.
Potency: Depending on your tastes you'll either find it sweet and adorable or annoyingly fluffy - a shot of vodka can be added for those who prefer more wonder and less web. [top]

Ingredients: Half-glass of lemonade, half-glass of orange juice.
Method: Stick the lot in a shaker, shake it up for about thirty seconds, wait for the fizziness to subside a bit (unless you like exploding drinks!) and pour! Stick ice cubes/orange slice in it if you like that sorta thing.
History: I'm RL underage (and teetotal), and a Clare's Chocolatey Cocoa isn't the sort of thing you'd want on a boiling hot day. This is an ideal drink for summer, is bubbly like Kerry and roughly the colour of her hair!

Poppet's Peach Passion
Developed by: Avon
Colour code: Poppet's Peach Passion
Ingredients: Peach nectar, passionfruit, cream and soda water.
Method: Shake together then pour into a long, tall glass.
History: Poppet's Peach Passion was created for Jennywren because she asked where were the non-alcoholic cocktails. Naming it after DC Tom Proctor aka The Poppet was a natural choice - he's way too wee and bubby to be drinking alcohol.
Potency: Perfectly peachy. [top]
Strawberry Blond

Strawberry Blond
Developed by: Avon & Emony
Colour code: Strawberry Blond
Ingredients: Banana, strawberries, orange juice, soda water and cream.
Method: Blend the banana, strawberries, orange juice, soda water and cream together. Serve in a sundae style glass.
History: Towards the end of the Lone Star Anniversary GT we were sitting in a RL bar drinking CA drinks when Emony wanted a drink. It had to be non-alcoholic and rich and creamy - halfway between a cocktail and the desert she really wanted - so we concocted the above. Naturally if the drink was for Emony it had to be named in honour of Sam Harker.
Potency: Like our Sammy it's sweet and yummy. [top]

To state the bleeding obvious, it's totally uncool to be dead, seriously injured or responsible for taking the life of a fellow human being. Thankye for listening.
